Our market sales manager, account manager, systems engineer, product manager, and quality assurance manager will work with your team to develop the prototype for meeting your time to the market requirements.

Micro 1 Technology will study your project requirements to determine the most cost effective solutions available using off-the-shelf PC components in the open market, or we will work with our suppliers to design and manufacture custom PC components, such as motherboards, chassis, I/O boards, and cables for your unique project requirements.

During the prototype development, Micro 1 Technology will ensure the product meets and exceeds your system requirements.  We will evaluate and test the prototype to meet the requirements of the thermal test, certifications, product reliability, mass production, and long life cycle product support.

We go through a four step process in the prototype development.

1. First, Micro 1 Technology will discuss with you to help understand your project requirements. All conceptual ideas will be exchanged initially to identify the scope of work for the prototype development.
2. Next, our team will brainstorm and come up with a feasible cost effective solution for your initial prototype. Depending on the complexity of the project requirements, at this point, we may deem it necessary to acquire custom parts. If custom parts are required, we will work with vendors for custom parts solution.
3. A proposal with a solution, a development cost, and lead time will be given to you for approval. If any change is requested by you, we will come out with a revised proposal with your approval.
4. Once the proposal is approved, your project goes into the prototype implementation phase. The prototype will go through all testing procedures and will be reviewed by our engineering, production, purchasing, quality assurance, and sales to ensure your prototype is ready and is qualified for mass production

When the prototype is presented to you, all documentation including any design drawing, bill of material, and testing results will also be provided to you.
